All proceeds to benefit Mark Cutler’s “The Same Thing Project”
Mark Cutler is a musician’s musician, a member of the RI Music Hall of Fame, and Grammy nominee. As the front man for two legendary rock groups, the Schemers and the Raindogs, he has opened for Bob Dylan, Warren Zevon, and Don Henley, among many others. Most recently, his album Murder of Crows was recognized as favorite album of the year by Motif magazine. In addition to performing, Mark’s passion is the “Same Thing Project.” All the money raised from this performance will be donated in support of this deserving cause.
The Berger Boys, Jimmy and Louie, are a father-son duo who play folk and Americana music. Most recently, they were honored with a Motif magazine music award for “Favorite Folk Act.” The Bergers play extensively throughout New England and record many of their own original songs, several of which they will perform this evening

The Same Thing Project
Founded by Mark Cutler in 2016, The Same Thing Project is a community songwriting workshop for people from all walks of life. It’s a place where you don’t need musical skill to be musical — musicians, artists, students, teachers, retired folks, neuro-diverse, differently-abled, blue and white-collar workers participate every week in writing a song in a nonjudgmental and encouraging environment. It takes place at schools, adult care facilities, community centers and college campuses.
