Re-Opening Protocol
The Narrows Center for the Arts is committed to the safety of our attendees, performers, volunteers, and staff. We will follow and adhere to the Governor's COVID-19 regulations on the re-opening of live performance venues. We applaud the citizens of Massachusetts for following the CDC guidelines and lowering and keeping low the spread of COVID-19 in our state. We thank the Governor for this opportunity to re-open our doors to enjoy the healing magic of live music and the camaraderie of our friends.


Protocols for attending an event:

·      All tickets must be purchased online in advance. No tickets will be available at the door. The box office is not resuming regular hours at this time and will not be open on concert nights.

·      Attendees will be checked-in by the ticket purchaser name in the first-floor lobby. Temperatures will be checked at that time. Anyone with a temperature of 100.4° or higher will not be allowed to enter. Everyone entering the building will be asked if they have COVID-19 related symptoms or if they have been in contact with someone who has been diagnosed with or is suspected of having COVID-19. If yes, they will not be allowed to enter.

·      Masks must be worn when entering and exiting the venue and in all communal areas including to and from restrooms. Masks should be worn when you are seated.

·      For increased safety, we will stagger attendance arrival. We ask buyers with last names beginning in A – M to arrive between 7:00 and 7:25 pm. For buyers with last names beginning in N – Z, we ask that you arrive between 7:30 and 7:55 pm. There will be no congregating outside the building before the show.

·      Please take note of the social distancing floor markers upon entering the 3rd floor and maintain 6' apart from other individuals and/or groups at all times.

·       The elevator may only be used by one group at a time.
(E.g. 1, 2 or 4 ticket purchase group)


·      There are hand sanitizer stations in several areas of the building.

·      The Narrows will be deep-cleaned and disinfected after every event.

·      The Café will be closed until further notice. Attendees can bring in refreshments and snacks.

·      If you are feeling sick, have symptoms of COVID-19 (fever, loss of smell or taste, muscle aches, sore throat, cough, shortness of breath, chills, headache, gastrointestinal issues) or if you have been exposed to someone who has tested positive to COVID-19, please stay home.
 

Seating/ticketing information:

·      No tables will be available during this time of reduced capacity. All seating will be assigned by the Narrows.

·      The seating floor plan will consist of 1 chair, 2 chair, 3 chair or 4 chair blocks. Each block of seats will have open space around it/them for social distancing purposes.

·      The floor plan and block seating will be determined by ticket orders and be in place before doors open. On concert night, a single ticket order purchase cannot be combined with another single ticket order purchase with the intention of putting 2 chairs together. If you wish to sit beside someone, you must purchase your tickets together in one order. Parties should arrive together.

·      When you arrive at the third-floor check-in area, you will be directed to your pre-determined seat(s).

·      No chairs can be moved on concert night.

·      Once the show has ended, patrons are asked to remain seated until directed to leave. We will direct exiting by sections to maintain social distancing.
